POINTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE IMPERATIVE SENTENCE IN FRENCH

The article mainly elabotrates imperative sentence, which is one of the types of simple sentence. It is noted that imperative sentences in French express command, prohibition, request, desire and are characterized by their structure and special intonation. Often, the message of the imperative sentence is used in the form of a command and a wish. The article also points out that imperative sentences have different meanings and nuances of processing. At the same time, it is shown that the command form serves to express requests, starting with harder and softer command tones.
