Abstract

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into modern education has created new methodological opportunities for foreign language teaching, particularly in primary school. This article examines the pedagogical potential of AI-assisted tools in developing English vocabulary among learners aged 7–11. The research explores theoretical foundations of lexical acquisition, analyzes interactive and adaptive AI technologies, and evaluates their impact on vocabulary retention, learner motivation, pronunciation accuracy, and communicative competence. Based on classroom observations and experimental data, the study demonstrates that AI-supported vocabulary instruction enhances lexical development through personalization, gamification, immediate feedback, and meaningful communicative practice. The findings confirm the effectiveness of AI as a methodological resource for improving vocabulary teaching at the primary level.
