Abstract

This study examines the impact of domestic violence on children in Kazakhstan, focusing on emotional, social, academic, and physical effects. A survey of 31 participants (students, teachers, and pupils) found that domestic violence is widely recognized as a national issue. Key effects include poor peer relationships, lower academic performance, fatigue, and long-term mental health struggles. The findings highlight the need for improved psychological support, stronger child protection systems, and more resources for affected children.
