Abstract

The paper provides an analysis of the factors of negative impact of winds, their impact on agricultural crops and soil conditions. As well as the laws of Georgia that regulate the granting of the status of windbreaks. Where it is noted that the issue of the legal status, maintenance and physical protection of windbreaks is acute throughout the territory of Georgia. Due to the political and social disruptions that have developed in recent decades, as well as the non-existent legislative base, windbreaks have been destroyed, whose role in the country's agriculture, transpiration, recreation, biodiversity and land protection is very large. Today, information about the ownership of windbreaks, the size of the areas of responsibility and the current state is unknown.
