Abstract

This article explores the pedagogical potential of applying artificial intelligence in the training of future foreign language teachers in higher education institutions. The study focuses on analyzing the impact of artificial intelligence on the development of students’ language skills, the individualization of instruction, and the formation of professional competencies. The research is based on a descriptive-analytical approach and involves a theoretical analysis of domestic and international scholarly works in the fields of linguodidactics, pedagogy, and digital education. The findings indicate that the purposeful use of artificial intelligence grounded in didactic principles enhances the effectiveness of training future foreign language teachers. At the same time, artificial intelligence is conceptualized not as a tool that replaces the instructor, but as a pedagogical resource that enriches the educational process.
