Abstract

The article scrutinizes translation from linguistic point of view. It has been noted that a good command of language including a rich vocabulary, excellent grammar and a perfect pronunciation makes the translation better. Language aspects play an indispensable role both in translation and interpretation. Besides, it has been revealed that the impact of cultural diversity on the language is undeniable. Phraseological  units, idioms, sayings, proverbs, dialects are the mirror of the religion, customs and traditions and other cultural elements. They represent themselves in the language. Cognitive aspects of interpretation and translation have also been involved in the research in this article.
