Abstract

Scholars have been alarmed about the problem of the impact of media censorship on the development of the country and its overall world picture. Such fears have been arised in every part of the world, where people experience infringement of human rights and protections. For instance, most of the popular social networks do not work in China, including Twitter, YouTube, Tinder, Facebook and Instagram. Accordingly, it has greatly influenced my worldview and is one of the reasons for choosing the topic of copper censorship.

Based on my opinion and future plans, I am very interested in one of the most important topics of our world. I was able to experience a terrible situation happened in Kazakhstan. We were blocked from communication for a week. The Kazakhstan government shut off the internet nationwide on Jan. 5, 2022, because the government lifted the price cap on liquid natural gas used for cars. (THE CONVERSATION, 2022)

“If I had to choose between having a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I wouldn't hesitate to choose the latter”. That's what Thomas Jefferson, the 2nd president of the United States 1801-1809, said (Forbes, 2013). He emphasized the importance of readers' interaction with the external environment. It made me think about how many countries are suffering from this problem and need help as soon as possible.

Thus, the problem of media censorship needs a lot of help in solving it.
