Abstract

Information, as well as labor, capital and Natural Resources, which have taken place in the field of information and communication technologies as a new factor of production, as a result of the great changes in recent years, have become the most important resource element that provides a competitive advantage for organizations. Innovation is an indispensable requirement for organizations to achieve sustainable competitive advantages. Information is a form of data entered into a form useful for managers as a result of the transformation and analysis process in order to achieve certain goals or develop a certain understanding. In other words, the information used by the organization in the decision-making process represents value that helps the decisions made to be successful by placing the data in a useful and meaningful form by subjecting the data to information processing processes. Data represents the information raw material that must be processed before it becomes meaningful and useful information. In this context, making strategic decisions with a data-driven approach is of great importance for organizations to continue their lives and make their innovative competitive advantage sustainable.
