Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly influenced various aspects of education, including language learning. This paper explores the potential applications of AI in enhancing English reading and writing skills. AI-powered tools such as natural language processing (NLP), adaptive learning platforms, and automated feedback systems can personalize learning experiences, improve comprehension, and refine writing abilities. Additionally, AI-driven chatbots, virtual tutors, and gamified applications contribute to a more interactive and engaging learning environment. However, challenges such as data privacy, accuracy of AI-generated feedback, and the need for human intervention remain. The paper discusses future trends and provides recommendations for integrating AI effectively into English language instruction. By leveraging AI, educators and learners can achieve more efficient and customized learning outcomes, ultimately improving literacy skills in English
