Abstract

The article deals with the problems of adapting the modern system of higher education to the “challenges” of globalization. The article is connected with the consideration of some topical problems of education in the discourse when globalization unites social systems. The Bologna system shows a trend towards convergence of educational systems in the world. The article concludes that social processes cause changes in education systems and contribute to the formation of a common educational component. For the post-Soviet educational space, the issue of accepting global partnership and solidarity in the field of higher education and preserving national educational schools remains important.
