TRADITIONAL AND MODERN APPROACHES TO DOMBYRA PEDAGOGY
Abstract
Kazakhstan's education system is undergoing a crucial transformation, prioritizing the cultivation of creative individuality in young minds to prepare them for global educational competition. This emphasis on nurturing artistic expression is readily evident in the Republic's musical educational institutions, where dombyra teaching programs are being comprehensively renewed to meet contemporary needs. Notably, the instrument's repertoire is expanding to include works by diverse composers, further broadening its expressive potential. This delicate balance between innovation and heritage presents its own challenges, necessitating careful consideration of both artistic evolution and cultural preservation. Nonetheless, early indications suggest that these educational updates are fostering deeper student engagement and enriching the overall performance capabilities of young dombyra players.
