Abstract

              The article elaborates the negative sides of teacher-directed language learning. Still in postmodern era some teachers use teacher-oriented language learning. There are some disadvantages of teacher-centred language learning. It effects both students and teachers during the learning process. When teaching a foreign or second language, we must consider the students’ opinions. This can make the lesson more interesting and enjoyable. Building the lesson with modern methods, using new and effective teaching strategies, and considering the students’ requirements can enhance the effectiveness of the lesson.
