Abstract

In this article, a skilled connoisseur of Azerbaijani carpet art, who created the "passport" of this ancient art to which he dedicated his life, showed dedication in the creation of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum (1967) for the first time in the world, and directly participated in the organization of the first international carpet symposium (1983) in our country under the auspices of UNESCO. I would like to talk about the life and work of the world-famous carpet artist, art critic Latif Huseyn oghlu Karimov.
