Annotation. The impact of natural disasters on international politics is a complex and multifaceted issue, as evidenced by recent earthquakes in Turkey and Japan. These disasters have highlighted the need for international cooperation and support, as well as the challenges that arise in the aftermath of such events. In both cases, the response of the governments and international community has been crucial in mitigating the impact of the disaster on affected populations. Additionally, these disasters have underscored the importance of disaster preparedness and response capabilities, as well as the need to address underlying political and economic factors that can exacerbate the impact of natural disasters. Overall, the response to these disasters highlights the need for continued attention and investment in disaster preparedness and response, as well as the importance of international cooperation in addressing global challenges
