Abstract

This paper presents the epidemiological aspects of cervical cancer in the context of the regions of our country. The modern method of oncocytological screening and the results obtained are described in detail. The principles of organization and diagnostic capabilities of this method for the active detection of cervical cancer in clinically asymptomatic individuals are reflected. It has been shown that to achieve a highly effective result, strict adherence to the methodology of this type of screening is necessary.
