Abstract

This research discusses the development of a smart health model for smart cities, utilizing blockchain technology. The integration of blockchain into smart health systems holds the promise of enhancing healthcare delivery, improving patient outcomes, and addressing critical challenges in the healthcare sector such as data privacy, interoperability, and trust.

Additionally, the integration of blockchain technology into smart health systems can support advanced research and development initiatives. Through anonymized and permissioned access to aggregated health data, researchers and innovators can gain valuable insights into population health trends, disease patterns, and treatment effectiveness. This data-driven approach enables the development of innovative solutions, personalized medicine, and evidence-based policies to improve healthcare outcomes for smart city residents.
