Abstract

An adverb is a part of speech that modifies or provides more information about verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. It often answers questions such as how, when, where, why, or to what extent an action is performed. Adverbs can add detail to a sentence, indicating manner, place, time, frequency, degree, or reason. They play a crucial role in providing a more nuanced understanding of the action or description in a sentence.
