Abstract

The article elaborates neuter layer of vocabulary which consists of the corpus of the language. Neuter vocabulary emerges under different sources and impact. This is sometimes called impartial stratum of the language. The article reveals that neuter layer of vocabulary is employed more widely in public compared by other layers of the language such as literary and academic. Neutral words are important for clear and straightforward communication. People use these words while communicating with family, friends, peers, colleagues, and acquaintances. Neuter layer of the language has some advantages. Using neutral words in colloquial speech helps avoid misunderstandings and ensures that the message is easily understood by a wide range of listeners.
