The foundations of pronunciation culture are laid in early childhood. At school, this concern for the culture of pronunciation is called upon to take over the initial stage of education. The current language programs for elementary grades oblige to work on the sound side of children's speech throughout the entire initial stage of education. Junior school age is considered the most favorable period for the formation and improvement of pronunciation culture. High linguistic susceptibility, a great tendency to imitate, contribute to the successful organization of work on the development of speech at the pronunciation level in the primary grades. Work on the culture of speech of students is not limited only to the scope of the lesson of language and reading; the requirements for correct and distinct pronunciation are imposed on the speech of children in all other lessons, as well as outside school hours
