Teacher feedback is a vital component of the language learning process and one of the most powerful tools influencing students’ motivation and performance. Effective feedback guides learners toward improvement, reinforces positive behavior, and builds self-confidence. This paper explores the relationship between teacher feedback and students’ motivation in English language learning. It analyzes various types of feedback—positive, corrective, oral, written, and peer feedback—and discusses their effects on learner engagement. Through the review of previous studies and qualitative observations, the paper concludes that constructive, timely, and individualized feedback enhances students’ motivation and leads to better academic outcomes. It also highlights the importance of teacher training in developing feedback literacy.
