THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING IN HIGH SCHOOL

This article is devoted to the problem of using digital technologies in teaching a foreign language in a comprehensive school in high school. Today, the education system actively uses innovative technologies and new teaching methods. Digitalization of space, including education and any sphere of activity, became the trend of the 21st century. The article gives the definitions of digital technologies of different authors, their features are considered, some issues related to the role of digital technologies and the process of teaching a foreign language in a comprehensive school, taking into account cultural and mental differences, which is necessary for a successful dialogue, and how to effectively use digital technologies during the period learning a foreign language. The article also indicates some scientific works of Kazakhstani and foreign researchers on the problem of informatization of foreign education, which contributed to the development of science. The work describes the experimental work in grade 10 to determine the effectiveness of the use of digital technologies in the educational process in English lessons, which included testing, students survey and lessons using digital technologies. The results of the experimental work proved their effectiveness together with the work of the teacher as a coordinator with the educational process. At the end of the work, conclusions were drawn, results were summed up.
