THE BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMS IN PROMOTING GLOBAL EDUCATION

Abstract

This article emphasizes the importance and relevance of international exchange programs to expand the general horizons of students and their tolerance, as well as empathy and cultural interaction with representatives of the foreign language being studied, as well as other foreign persons who have to face in the academic environment during the academic mobility program, highlights the important advantages and achievements of the field, as well as Forecasts for the future are being made. At the same time, the article examines the current problems shared by the interviewed students, which are expressed in the difficulties of adapting to life in a new culture, as well as possible differences in the curricula of their native university and the university where they study at the time of the exchange program. Thus, this article highlights both sides of the problem, thereby providing an idea of the impact of international exchange programs on the global educational space.
