Theoretical background of foundations for the formation of the structure of the agro-industrial complex and food security of the country

Abstract

In modern economic conditions, the problem of ensuring the national security is common. Therefore, food security can be considered as the most important component. A significant role in the effectiveness of the country's food security processes belongs to the agro-industrial complex [1]. Its level of development decisively determines possibilities of saturating the market with domestic agricultural products and its processing products, as well as determines possibilities for agro-industrial enterprises to enter international markets. In such conditions, it becomes necessary to find out some new directions for the development of economic relations between the agro-industrial complex entities as its successful implementation can help to increase the efficiency of the entire agro-industrial complex and provide more opportunities for further economic growth [2].
