This study explores the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in improving pronunciation skills among English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. Pronunciation is a critical component of language proficiency, yet it is often challenging to teach and learn due to the lack of immediate, personalized feedback in traditional classroom settings. This research investigates how AI-powered tools, such as speech recognition and real-time feedback systems, can enhance pronunciation training by providing tailored exercises and corrective feedback. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative analysis of pre- and post-test scores with qualitative insights from learner feedback. Participants included 24 "Nomad" innovational school-lyceum students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, divided into an experimental group using AI tools and a control group receiving traditional instruction. Results indicated significant improvements in pronunciation accuracy and learner confidence in the experimental group, highlighting the potential of AI to transform pronunciation training. The findings offer valuable implications for educators, curriculum designers, and technology developers aiming to integrate AI into language learning. Additionally, the study underscores the importance of blending AI with human instruction to address limitations in prosody and interactional nuance. Future research is encouraged to examine long-term retention and the scalability of such tools in broader educational contexts.
