Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of musical phraseology as a specific fragment of the national linguistic picture of the world, reflecting the cultural and historical characteristics of society. The role of music in the formation of linguistic meanings is considered, the functions of musical phraseology in speech are analyzed, as well as their significance in teaching foreign languages to students of musical specialties. Particular attention is paid to the interdisciplinary potential of musical images, the phenomenon of phraseological conceptualization, and the mechanism of metaphorization underlying the formation of stable expressions. The methodological effectiveness of using musical phraseology in teaching a foreign language, especially in the context of training music students, is substantiated
