PHYSICAL CULTURE AS A FACTOR IN ENHANCING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE: A CORRELATION ANALYSIS BETWEEN MOTOR ACTIVITY, COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS, AND GPA AMONG TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINESS STUDENTS

In the context of increasing intellectual loads and widespread digitalization, the question of the influence of students' physical condition on their educational outcomes becomes particularly relevant. The purpose of this article is to conduct a correlation analysis and identify statistically significant connections between the level of physical activity, the state of cognitive functions (attention, working memory), and the indicator of academic performance (GPA) among students of K. Kulazhanov Kazakh University of Technology and Business . The study utilized methods of objective digital monitoring of physical activity and standardized psychophysiological tests. The findings confirm that regular moderate and vigorous physical activity positively affects executive brain functions, which is directly reflected in the growth of students' Grade Point Average. The results substantiate the necessity of rethinking the role of physical culture as a key tool in developing the intellectual potential of the student body
