Abstract

The article examines the ecological issues in Kazakh literature and the artistic-cognitive significance of nature lyric. The study is based on theoretical concepts such as ecocriticism, ecological discourse, artistic ecology, and ecological consciousness, analyzing the interaction between humans and nature within the framework of national worldview. Using the works of Abai Qunanbaiuly as examples, the depiction of nature is considered as a measure of human spiritual and moral responsibility. The article highlights the role of literature in fostering ecological awareness and demonstrates the educational, philosophical, and psychological potential of literary texts.
