Abstract

This article explores the integration of Kazakh fairy tales with artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the process of teaching English to primary school learners. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the combination of culturally meaningful storytelling and modern digital technologies can improve the process of language acquisition. The research employed linguistic analysis of fairy tales, AI-generated interactive exercises, classroom observation, and learner motivation surveys. The findings indicate that the use of AI-supported tasks based on Kazakh fairy tales contributes to the enrichment of students’ vocabulary, improves their text comprehension, and increases their engagement during lessons. The integration of traditional narrative materials with adaptive AI technologies creates an effective and age-appropriate learning environment. This approach supports both language development and the understanding of national cultural values among young learners.
