Abstract

This article explores the cognitive aspects of language learning with the support of artificial intelligence (AI)  

The study analyzes how learner’s cognitive processes – attention, memory, perception, information-processing speed, and metacognition – change when AI tools are used [6]. It is demonstrated that AI-based chatbots, adaptive platforms, automated text-analysis systems, and generative models enable the personalization of learning strategies and help reduce cognitive load. The article also shows that AI support enhances motivation, provides immediate error correction, and strengthens the development of speaking skills. Furthermore, the role of AI technologies in optimizing the language-learning process and their impact on cognitive development are discussed in a comprehensive manner.
