DEVELOPING SPEAKING SKILLS THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: EFFECTIVE METHODS AND TOOLS

Abstract

This study examines how Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies can effectively develop speaking skills in language education. The paper analyzes modern AI tools such as ELSA Speak, ChatGPT, and YouGlish, focusing on their pedagogical potential to improve pronunciation, fluency, and interactional competence. The research includes a theoretical review, a small-scale experimental observation with students, and qualitative feedback analysis. Results indicate that AI enhances learners’ autonomy and confidence by providing instant corrective feedback and continuous practice. The findings underline the growing importance of AI integration in pedagogical settings.
