Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ways and strategies for news exchange between China and Kazakhstan within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative. It examines the features of media communication between the two countries through a lens of regulatory frameworks, a thorough analysis of media, discursive strategies, and international cooperation. The study reveals an existing imbalance in information exchange, with Chinese narratives dominating and limited Kazakh participation in shaping a shared media landscape. The findings are based on content analysis, comparative legal analysis, discursive analysis of statistics, and scientific literature review. The conclusion emphasizes the need for a balanced media partnership built on mutual respect, transparency, and cultural understanding.. The work contributes to a better understanding of the role of media as a tool for soft power in Chinese-Kazakh strategic cooperation
