Abstract

The article discusses the severity and relevance of the topic of drug use in modern society, as well as the current drug situation in Georgia. The paper presents the results of our research with drug users and healthy people using the Schwartz questionnaire. As a result of the research, it was revealed that the value systems of drug users and healthy people differ significantly from each other. Conformity, safety and stimulation were found to be at the leading positions in the value system of drug users in remission. For those respondents who used drugs during the research - the first three were determined: universalism, tradition, hedonism. And for those respondents who did not use drugs, i.e. the representatives of the control group, the first three were defined as follows: benevolence, safety, conformity.
