IMPROVING AFGHANISTAN’S ECONOMY THROUGH CADASTER AND LAND MANAGEMENT

One of the major problems facing Afghanistan now and in the past was the problem of cadaster and land management. After the collapse of Mohammad Dawoud Khan's regime, the first president of Afghanistan, no fundamental work was done in the cadaster and land management sectors. This caused various problems between the people and between the people and the government. In the last 10 years, some essential work has been done in the land ownership sector, but the changes in Afghanistan have stopped most projects.
In addition, it prevents the development of economic, civil infrastructure, transportation, environmental, cultural, educational, and other sectors. In this sector, corruption has been prevalent due to an outdated cadastral and land management system that is incompatible with the latest technology.
In this article, I mentioned the history of cadaster, challenges of cadaster and land management, problems in case of poor management, measures to be taken to develop this sector, Problems of Afghan women in the land ownership sector, the importance of this sector for the future of Afghanistan, its role in the economy, and implementation of economic and development plans, preparation for internal and external investment, allocation of land for internally and externally displaced migrants, job creation, reducing people’s problems, and other things.
