The article considers the theoretical and methodological foundations of export promotion. The authors show the features of export promotion from the point of view of the mutual influence of the most important types of the country's foreign economic policy. The main types of foreign export credit agencies are described. The experience of stimulating the export activity of such European states as Great Britain, Germany and France is analyzed. The possibilities of applying this experience in the Republic of Kazakhstan are shown.
