Liquidity risk for banks is one of the main financial risks that carries the threat of not being able to meet short-term obligations on time. Liquidity risks can lead to serious problems that threaten the functioning of banks, stability and the continuity of the financial system as a whole. This article will discuss the liquidity risks faced by banks, their management methods and the role of these risks in times of crisis
