Abstract

This research article examines the integration of AI-based digital technologies in higher education institutions, in particular in Karaganda National Research University named after Buketov. The study examines current practices, challenges and potential for future achievements in AI and foreign language teaching as modernization of education has become a trend worldwide, especially in the study of foreign languages. The article describes how AI-based technology is adapted to the changing conditions in the world in the field of learning foreign languages. Despite this, there are challenges in ensuring that all faculties effectively use the available digital technologies and smart laboratories effectively in the educational process, which can revolutionize the approaches of training future teachers of foreign languages
