Optimizing Network Architecture for Big Data Transmission
Keywords:
LAN, big data, network topology, network architectureAbstract
With the growing volumes of data transmitted through computer networks, optimizing network performance has become a crucial aspect of modern information technology. Network performance is currently limited due to network latency and packet loss. To calculate the parameters of such systems' functioning, the development of mathematical and simulation models is required, enabling the consideration of these factors in LAN network design, which in turn can optimize information delivery time. Furthermore, the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of enterprise information systems are costly. Therefore, the issue of the economic efficiency of network operation is pertinent, determined by its topology, traffic load, cost, and software functionality. This article explores various aspects of network optimization, such as the selection of suitable network equipment, network architecture, and monitoring. It also discusses methods to reduce delays and traffic management to achieve maximum network performance using simulation modeling.
