Abstract

This research endeavors to comprehensively analyze the multifaceted influence of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on the geopolitical dynamics of its member states and the broader Eurasian region. As a significant regional organization comprising major players such as China, Russia, India, and Central Asian countries, the SCO wields substantial influence in political, economic, and security spheres. The study focuses on several key dimensions: Firstly, it examines how the SCO's economic initiatives, particularly those associated with the "Silk Road Economic Belt," impact trade, infrastructure development, and investment flows among member countries. This analysis is crucial for assessing the SCO's contribution to regional economic integration and sustainable development. Methodologically, the research employs a rigorous approach combining literature analysis, content review of media sources, economic evaluation, and comparative methods. By synthesizing data from reputable sources and peer-reviewed literature, the study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how the SCO shapes regional dynamics and influences international relations. This research not only contributes to academic discourse on international organizations and regional integration but also offers practical insights for policymakers and analysts involved in shaping strategies for regional security, economic cooperation, and geopolitical stability in Eurasia. By examining the SCO's past and present activities, the study seeks to illuminate pathways for its future development amidst evolving global dynamics and geopolitical shifts.
