In the age of global digital competition, the process of reengineering business processes (RBP) is becoming an essential component of the strategy for companies aiming to achieve significant improvements. This article delves into the methodological aspects of RBP in the context of two distinct economic models in Asia: China, a global technological leader, and Kazakhstan, a rapidly developing digital hub in Central Asia. This paper conducts a comparative analysis of RBP approaches, identifies key success factors driven by national strategies (such as China's "Made in China 2025" and Kazakhstan's "Digital Kazakhstan"), and examines the influence of specific socio-cultural and economic conditions on transformational processes. The article incorporates up-to-date statistical data on the digitalization of China's and Kazakhstan's economies, presents two tables summarizing success factors and case study outcomes, and includes a diagram illustrating a universal digital reengineering model. The concluding section delves into the distinctive hazards and practical consequences of implementing RBP approaches in various nations, providing valuable perspectives for global business and academia
