GLOBAL LEADERSHIP IN THE ERA OF INFORMATION TRANSFORMATIONS
Keywords:
global leadership, information society, management culture, networked organizationsAbstract
This paper examines the transformation of leadership thinking in the context of globalization and the development of the information society. It explores the need for leadership approaches that respond to the growing interdependence, dynamism, and uncertainty of the contemporary environment. The paper argues for a shift from an instrumental view of individuals as organizational resources towards an understanding of the whole person, with their own potential, values, and capacity for conscious participation. This perspective lays the foundations for a management culture in which knowledge, trust, and shared responsibility support the development of adaptive networked organizations
